Reality: If you've ever seen pictures from a bridal magazine you'll likely see a beautiful couple bathed in
glorious soft warm light, walking hand in hand, surf in the background, with the bride's veil blowing ever so gently in the breeze. What you
need to understand is that, off to the sides of this perfect photo there are perhaps a dozen assistants, positioning sun shades, gold reflectors,
lights, and at least one person controlling the fan that was creating the perfect breeze. They probably shot for four hours and out of that effort
the editors chose this one picture. Whether it's a wedding or a portrait very few people have the budget or the time to stage their photographs like
this. If this is what you're looking for you'd best look for another photographer. Having said all that, for a modest sum, with careful planning and
consultation, we should be able to produce something that we will both be proud of and you will enjoy for many years to come.
Black & White Prints: In general, any image can be printed in color or black and white. But the best black and white prints will result
when the photographer knows in advance that certain images are intended for black and white printing. If you want your package to contain black
and white or sepia toned prints just let me know in advance.
Creative Techniques: There are wide range of creative techniques that can be applied to your photographs, subtle changes in color or toning,
mixtures of black and white and color, and other artistic techniques. If you are searching for a certain "look" we can discuss the options available.
Location Location Location: Whether it's my studio, your home a local park, botanical garden or a baseball diamond - give some thought to
where you might like to have your photo shoot. If you're not sure, I'd be happy to help or make recommendations.
Wedding Options: So much to consider! What should you include? Engagement photos, pre service pictures, the reception, cake cutting and
tossing the bouquet. Who do you want included in your group photos. Plan ahead. Make a list.
Props: There are lots of props that a photographer can use in a photoshoot but there may be things in your own home that are more meaningful
which you might want to use. Be creative. Don't be shy.
